Design-Build Process
Several steps are involved in a remodeling project. Your convenience and needs are at the center at every one. Our step-by-step, personalized process ensures a quality product that meets your expectations and budget.
Initial Meeting
• Idea Exchange—Identify needs and wants.
• Budget discussions—Financing options and opportunities.
• Field measure.
Conceptual Designs
• Presentation of rough concepts and basic plans so that we can discuss budgets and materials.
Estimate and Contract
• Once we have the concepts clear, we proceed to the actual detailed estimates.
Plans and Permits
• Written specifications—Additional paperwork is required by the Indiana Home Improvement Act.
• Homeowner makes selections of materials, such as flooring, counter tops, windows and fixtures.
• Financial verification is made.
• Payment process is established.
• Change order process is discussed
• Scaled production Drawings—CAD drawings approved by the homeowner.
• Permits are obtained, according to jurisdictions.
Construction!
• Efforts are made to minimize disruption to the household.
• Continual communication is kept up so the homeowner always knows the status of the job.
• Specialized tradesmen are brought in as needed.
